Our Nepal

A Nepali company, hosting the Himalaya.

Him is our word for snow. A kora is the Himalayan tradition of walking a sacred circuit, slowly and with intention.

Who we are

Himkora was started by a Nepali born in the mountains, a lifelong traveller and lover of adventure. Our team is highly experienced: guides and hosts who have spent years in these valleys, and who treat every guest as family.

Private journeys through Nepal, planned the way we would for our own family: a personal host, guides from the valleys you walk, the best rooms each route allows, and a published standard of care.

What we stand for

Hosted, cared for, with intention.

01

A person, not a desk

One Himkora Host plans your journey with you and is there when it matters: arrival, the first days in the mountains, and the farewell.

02

A standard in writing

Our Care Standard sets out how we handle altitude, medicine and evacuation. You can hold us to it.

03

Slow, and fair

Unhurried routes, local guides, fair wages and insurance for every porter, and a share of every journey for the villages on the route.

Your journey

Come and see it with us.
